Because I have been in the medical field for over 30 years, I have a particular perspective from which I view the world. In patterns, shapes and colors I see cells, systems and processes in an abstract way. Many artists speak to the outside world; I speak to the infinite wonders within.

Medically speaking, confluence is simply the merging or flowing together of two or more adjacent anatomical structures, vessels, or lesions into a single unit. This describes my work: art and medicine merging to create something new in an abstract expression of the beauty of human nature.
